Kathmandu, Nepal: Hundreds of thousand people including the former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattrai staged a demonstration in Kathmandu on Saturday demanding the government to save the life of agitating Dr. Govinda KC.  
 
Dr. KC is in his 10the hunger strike for 21 days putting forth six-point demands concerning reforms in the health sector.  Not only the doctors and medical workers but also the people in general have expressed solidarity for Govinda KC.
 
Addressing a gathering in Kathmandu, former Prime Minister Bhattrai, who is also the coordinator of Naya Shakti Party, urged the government to save the life of Dr Govinda KC saying that saving Dr. KC’s life would meant to save the millions of lives.
 
During his address he also alleged the government and its allies for creating havoc in the country.
