Kathmandu, Nepal, August 12, 2024: Hundreds of thousands Hindu devotees are thronging in the Lord Shiva temples across the country including the Pashupatinath in Kathmandu today.
Devotees seem to have flocked in different Shiva temples, particularly the Pashupatinath temple in Kathmandu since early morning to mark the last Monday of Shrawan. Shrawan month, particularly the Monday, is special for offering worships to the Lord Shiva.
Devotees used to take holy baths before offering prayers at Shiva temples. Hindu devotees used to throng in different Shiva temples at the last Monday of Srawan month, including the Pashupatinath, Gokarneshwor, Santaneshwor, Doleshwor, Kirateswor, Bhaleshwor, Devghat of Tanahun and Galeshwor of Myagdi.
