Kathmandu, Nepal: at least three people including a candidate of the local level elections from Kalika Municipality of Chitwan district killed in lightning strikes on Tuesday morning.
According to the media reports, candidate of ward member in Kalika Municipality of Chitwan from the CPN Maoist Center Siphal Chepang was killed when he was struck with the lighting strikes when he was inside his own house on Tuesday morning.
Likewise, two persons were killed in lightning strikes in Udayapur district on Tuesday morning. According to the media reports, the decease have been identified as Bhes Bahadur Khatri, 47 and Bal Bahadur Basnet, 55 of Harberni of Katari Municipality – 11.
