Kathmandu, Nepal, October 11, 2020: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Giriraj Mani Pokharel has been admitted at a hospital in Kathmandu after he infected with the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The secretariat of the Minister has stated that he has been admitted to Patan Hospital after he suffered with fever. A PCR test conducted at the hospital has confirmed that he was tested positive for the virus.
Pokhrel has become second cabinet minister infected with the coronavirus. Earlier, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Yogesh Bhattarai was diagnosed with the coronavirus infection.
