Kathmandu, Nepal, December 12, 2020: The president of the main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), Sher Bahadur Deuba, has informed to the Prime Minister KP Oli that he would not attend in the Constitutional Council (CC) meeting scheduled for Sunday.
Prime Minister Oli had called a meeting of the constitutional council for 9:00 am on Sunday with the aim fulfill the vacant positions in the constitutional bodies amid inter and intra party differences on ranges of issues including the appointments.
It is said that NC president Deuba has sent a message to the Prime Minister Oli informing that he will not able to attend in the meeting due to his busy schedule. The NC has announced a nationwide protest against the government on Sunday.
