Kathmandu, Nepal, March 19, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 275,750 after 125 new cases reported in the past 24 hours on Friday.
Of the newly infected cases, Kaski district alone records 48 cases of coronavirus infection while 45 cases surfaced in Kathmandu valley in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, 123 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 271,733.
Similarly, nationwide death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 3,016 with new one fatality related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, there are currently 3,016 active cases of coronavirus throughout the country. Of them, only 51 persons have been staying in various quarantine facilities across the country.
