Kathmandu, Nepal: Former Minister Shyam Sundar Gupta has been arrested by the Nepal police on Monday on the charge of extorting.
 
Metropolitan Police Range, Jawalakhel arrested Gupta from Lalitpur on the charge of 
threatening and demanding money from a woman at Lalitpur of Kathmandu valley.  
 
Gupta, who was also the leader of the Sadbhawana Party, had earlier severed three and half years in jail for abduction of businessman Pawan Sanghai.
