Nepal records 209 new COVID-19 infection cases, 253 recoveries and two deaths from across the country in the past 24 hours on Wednesday

Kathmandu, Nepal December 29, 2021: Nepal records 209 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Wednesday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 827972. 

Meanwhile, 253 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 811518.

Likewise, two more death related to the coronavirus infection has been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, mortality tally related to the coronavirus infection has advanced to 11590.

There are currently 4864 active cases of coronavirus infection across the country. Of them only 98 individuals are staying in institutional quarantine facilities.
