Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepalese stock traders have vowed to continue their strike until and unless the government withdraws the decision to impose the capital gains tax threshold on the sale of bonus and rights shares.
The traders halted all the transactions on the floor of the Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) in protest against the government decision. With the protest, the NEPSE did not record any trading on Tuesday.
Likewise, the traders had continued their protest program even on Tuesday in front of the Stock office located at Bhadrakali in Kathmandu.
