At a programme organised by the Nepal Press Union, Chitwan here, Minister Mahat said the party’s Central Working Committee had delegated the task of taking the final say on the issue to the PP. He said as the legal process is underway, the Congress party will also come up with a decision soon.

The leader noted that the NC was a mature party and that it would not fall short of standing on the sides of justice and good governance.

On a different note, Minister Mahat said there would not be any agreement or treaty during the Indian President’s visit to Nepal scheduled for November 2-4.

He added that the agreements, if necessary, would be signed at the executive level while making it clear that the visit by Indian President, who is a constitutional and ceremonial head, was only a solidarity visit.RSS
