Kathmandu, Nepal, October 15, 2020: The three newly appointed ministers have taken the oath of office and secrecy.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath office and secrecy to the newly appointed finance minister Bishnu Poudel, Urban Development minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Urban Development Minister Lila Nath Shrestha amid a function held at Sheetal Niwas on Thursday.
During the function, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Oli, Cabinet ministers and high-ranking government officials were present.
However, others high ranking leaders from the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) were not present at the function. The absence of NCP leaders including the executive chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is taken as importantly from different sectors.
