Kathmandu, Nepal:  Nine opposition parties including the main opposition CPN UML has decided to seek government and its aliases’ views regarding the constitution amendment bill.
 
A meeting of the opposition parties held on Wednesday afternoon decided to seek the clear-cut views from the government and its major allies- Nepali Congress and the CPN Maoist Center on the constitution amendment bill.
 
However, he did not mention about the thing that need to be made clear by the government and its allies regarding the constitution amendment bill.
 
We opposition parties will move ahead accordingly once the government and its allies make us clear about the constitution amendment bill, CPN UML Vice Chairman Bhim Bahadur Rawal said while talking to the media persons after the meeting. 
 
The opposition parties had been obstructing the meetings of the parliament demanding withdrawal of the constitution amendment bill registered in the parliament protesting some provisions of the bill including the proposal to split province 5. 
 
During the talk with media persons however, Rawal claimed that the local elections should be held in the announced date even if the parliament rejects the constitution amendment bill. We have already welcomed the government’s decision to fix the date for the local; level elections, Rawal said.
