Kathmandu, Nepal, February 13, 2023: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, has issued treasury bills worth Rs 18 billion on Monday. 

The treasury bills worth Rs 8 billion is issued through the tender process for mobilizing short-term loans for the government while remaining treasury bills worth Rs 10 billion is renewed.

According to the NRB, the  treasury bills worth Rs 5 billion is for a period of 28 days, treasury bills worth Rs 7 billion including both new and renewal for a period of 91 days and treasury bills worth Rs 6 billion for a period of 182 days.

With provision, the treasury bill of 28 days' period will mature on March 14, 2023 while the treasury bill of 91 days' period will be mature on May 16, 2023 and that of 365 days' period will be mature on August 15, 2023.
