KATHMANDU: On the occasion of Kojagrat Purnima, the last day of 15-day Badadashain festival, President Bidya Devi Bhandari visited the Navadurga Temple of Bhaktapur today and performed pooja of Navadurga Bhawani.
 
She also received Tika and Prasad on the occasion.
 
Head of the Navadurga Temple, Tej Maya Banmala, facilitated the pooja and pay the homage to the Navadurga while priest of the Temple, Julal Karmacharya, handed over the Jamara and Tika to the Head of the State.
 
Earlier, upon arrival at the Temple premises, President Bhandari was received by Bhaktapur’s Chief District Officer Tej Prasad Paudel, Superintendent of Police Kiran Bajracharya, Local Development Officer Dhruva Bahadur Koirala and Head of Guthi Office Lekhnath Sapkota, among others.
