Kathmandu, Nepal, May 25, 2022: Rabindra Mishra, the President of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, has resigned from his post owing to the party's dismal results in the local level elections held on May 13.
Issuing a press statement on Wednesday Mishra has announced his resignation stating as ‘I am stepping down immediately accepting the responsibility for the party's dismal performance in local elections.
In the statement, however, he has mentioned that he will remain as a general member of the party. Central executive committee and central committee of the party will determine how to move the party forward, reads the statement.
