RAJBIRAJ: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal ( RPP-N) Chairman Kamal Thapa has ruled out the possibility of local poll by mid-April next year.

The chief of fourth largest party in the Parliament accused the incumbent government of putting the people in confusion by claiming that it would hold the local poll within mid-April 2017.

Speaking at a press meet in Rajbiraj today, he claimed that elections of all three levels on the announced dates seemed difficult.

He accused the government of deceiving people with the assurances that there would be amendments to the Constitution to address the Madhes issues before the Prime Minister’s India visit.

The former deputy prime minister was of the view that internal matters including the amendment of Constitution should be settled internally.

The RPP-Nepal Chair further reinstated his demand for reinstating Nepal as a Hindu state.
