Kathmandu, Nepal: Former renowned Nepali journalist Rabindra Mishra has on Wednesday registered a new political party at the Election Commission Office on Wednesday.

Mishra, who had quit his job as chief of the BBC Nepali Sewa to join in the politics, named the new party as the Sajha Party and proposed beam balance (Taraju) as the election symbol.

Mishra hopes that he would get support from the 'Nepalis frustrated by the decades of selfish, extractive, pretentious and non-transparent politics.’
