Kathmandu, Nepal: Rastriya Prajantra Party (RPP) chairman Kamal Thapa has claimed that his party would adopt the line and police to revive Hindu Kingdom through the party’s upcoming general convention.

‘Our party would formally take up the policy to revive Hindu Kingdom through the party’s upcoming general convention,’ Thapa said while speaking at an interaction organized by the reporters’ club in Kathmandu on Friday.

RPP chairman Thapa, who is also branded as the loyal to monarcy, claimed that upcoming general convention would also endorse even the proposal to restore monarchy in the country.

As monarchy is the custodian to strengthen the national unity and nationality that always stand in favor of safeguarding the country’s sovereignty, our party would adopt the policy even to restore the monarchy in the country, he said.

We have no many differences over the policy of the party even after the unification from the party over the issue of the Hindu kingdom, he claimed in the function.

Following the unifications between the RPP Nepal and RPP, the unified party is going to hold its general convention in Kathmandu on February 17-20.
