Kathmandu, Nepal, March 23, 2021: The ruling CPN  UML has sought clarification from its four leaders including senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal for their alleged activities carried out against the party policies and interests.

The CPN UML has on Monday dispatched a letter demanding clarification from standing committee members - Bhim Bahadur Rawal, Surendra Pandey and Ghanshyam Bhusal including senior leader Nepal. The clarification was sought in line with the decision taken by the party's recent central committee meeting held on last week.

The letter sent in the sign of the party’s general secretary Ishowr Pokhrel has alleged the dissident leaders of harboring factional politics by forming parallel committees across the country.

As the clarification is sought with the motive to take disciplinary action against the dissident leaders, all eyes are now concentrated on the ruling UML.  The party has reached at the verge to vertical split due to the factional between two factions-one led by prime minister and party chairman KP Oli and another led by Nepal.
