Chitwan, Nepal: Search operation for the jeep that had plunged into the Trishuli River with three persons including former Chief Secretary and Former Home Minister Madhav Ghimire has resumed from early morning on Monday.
 
The ill-fated Scorpio SUV Jeep with registration number Ba 9 Cha 1531 had plunged into the swollen Trishuli River on Sunday from Prithvi Highway at Ghoptebhir, Darechok-3 in Chitwan district.
 
It is said that Rasauli-based Disaster Management Battalion of Nepal Army has been mobilized with necessary equipments for the search operation but not found till now. 
 
Among the seven persons boarded in the Jeep, three persons including the ex-minister’s mother, nephew and bodyguard were killed in the accident. 
 
It is said that former Minister Ghimire and his two younger brothers have gone missing in the river.  Driver Bishnu Rai survived in the accident.
