Kathmandu, Nepal, March 14, 2022: Ravi Singh has been reelected as the President of the Federation of Contractors' Association of Nepal (FCAN), the representative umbrella organization of Nepalese construction entrepreneurs, for the second consecutive term.
In the elections held during the 12th general convention of the FCAN, Singh reelected to the post for a three year-term. Singh has garnered 765 votes while his nearest contendr Nicolas Pandey received just 337 votes.
Likeiwse, Aang Dorje Sherpa has been elected in the post of senior vice-president while Ramji Panta has been elected as associate vice-president.
In the posts of provincial vice-presidents, Mohan Prasad Adhikari has been elected as vice president of Province No 1 while Shambhu Thakur of Madhesh Province, Balkrishna Thapa of Bagmati Province, Khemraj Malla of Gandaki Province, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi as Lumbini Province, Ratna Bahadur Khadka as Karnali Province and Prakash Bahadur Sethi Sudurpaschim Province.
Similalry, Roshan Dahal has been elected as the general-secretary for the second consecutive term while Niran Shrestha has been elected in the treasurer. Similalry, Santosh Shah has been elected as assistant-treasurer.
