Kathmandu, Nepal, June 8, 2021: The Supreme Court (SC), the Apex Court of the country, has on Tuesday issued an order to the government to make clear within 15 days about the decision to reshuffle the cabinet.

Responding a writ petition filed on Monday, single bench of Justice Ishwor Prasad Khatiwada ordered the Office of the President and the Office of the Prime Minister asking that why the cabinet was reshuffled and new ministers were inducted by the caretaker government.

Likewise, the SC has also called both the sides- petitioners and defendants- at the court for a discussion regarding the issuance of the interim order, on June 22.

A team of advocates including senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi had moved to the SC on Monday demanding interim order against the cabinet reshuffle made by Prime Minister KP Oli on June 4.
