Kathmandu, Nepal: Continuing its pervious verdict, the Supreme Court (SC), the Apex Court  of the country has on Wednesday given continuity to its previous stay order not to implement the government decision to appoint Jaya Bahadur Chand as the Inspector General of Nepal Police.
 
The division bench of Justices Hari Krishna Karki and Tej Bahadur KC issued the interim order to the government not to appoint Chand as the IGP until the court gives final verdict. The bench also ordered to present the related writ petitions at a full bench of the court for the final verdict over the issue.
 
Advocate Kapil Dev Dhakal had filed a writ petition against of the government’s February 12 decision to appoint Chand as the IGP. Responding to the writ, the SC had issued a verdict at the same day to stay the decision until the both sides presents their argument at the court.
