Pokhara, Nepal: At least two persons were killed and one dozen were injured when a jeep met with an accident at Pokhara-17, Dobilla on Saturday.
The ill-fated jeep with registration number Ga 1 Cha 4589 met with the accident while carrying picnickers from the picnic spot.
The deceased have been identified as Arbind Chaudhary, 20, of Rautahat district and Nisha Mahatra, 14, of Kolkata of India.
Nepal Police involved in the rescue operation have said that reckless driving was the reason behind the accident.
Jeep driver Bhola Bharati, 19 has been arrested. It is said that he was driving the jeep after consuming alcohol.
