Kathmandu, Nepal, September 29, 2020: Unlimited number of international flights is going to be resumed from 1 October with the end of cap to land in Kathmandu every day. The Civil Aviation Authority has announced that it will allow national and international to resume an unlimited number of flights from 1 October.  

Though the government had allowed flights to resume their service from September 1, there was a cap of only 1,600 passengers to land in Kathmandu every day because of the need to avoid overcrowding and mentioning of physical distance to contain the spread of coronavirus. 

The Civil Aviation Authority has authorized just to the 14 airlines to operate only 14 flights in a day.  Earlier in the normal situation, about 30 airlines used to fly 53 international flights daily from Kathmandu airport to 32 destinations in the region and beyond.
