Pokhara, Nepal, March 15, 2021: Senior leader of Nepali Congress (NC) Ramchandra Poudel has made clear that his party would not register no- confidence motion in the parliament against the Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to form a new coalition government with other parties.
 
Speaking at a press conference organized by Nepal Press Union in Kushma bazaar on Monday, NC senior leader Poudel, however, said that the NC would second at the no confidence motion if some other parties registered in the parliament.

NC senior leader Poudel has made the statement at the time when consultations are intensified among the political parties to form a coalition government. 

Though the recently revived CPN (Maoist Center) has repeatedly been approaching the NC to form a coalition government, the NC has yet to make official decision, thanks to the divergent views of forming the issue of forming a new government.   

The NC has given priority to protect the constitution and parliamentary democratic system rather than the forming a new government, Poudel said. During the function, he also alleged the incumbent government for deviating from the spirit of constitution and indulging on corruptions.
