Guwahatai : After six 'IS NE' flags being hoisted by unknown miscreants in Assam’s Goalpara district, another ISIS flag has been found in Lower Assam’s Nalbari district.

The ISIS flag surfaced with the message 'Join in ISIS' was seen attached to a tree at Koihati area in the Lower Assam district on Thursday.

When local people had noticed the ISIS flag, they immediately informed police and police taken the flag down.

Two days before, six 'IS NE' flags were found at Goalpara town nearby a police station.

The local people, who were out for morning walk on the river bank, had found the black colour flags had Arabic language written on them with ‘IS NE’ might be a short form for Islamic State North East.

Following the two incidents of ISIS flags appearing in past two days in Lower Assam have raised serious concerns amid the local people as fearing about is the Islamic terror group trying to create base and footprints in Assam.

Meanwhile, Assam police has started investigation into the matter.

No person has been arrested so far.
