Guwahati : The sleuth of Dibrugarh police is all set to grill over 100 newly appointed officers of Assam Civil Service (ACS), Assam Police Service (APS) and other associate services in connection with the cash-for-job scam of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).
A top official of Dibrugarh police said that, police has collected vital evidence against over 100 government officers whose were appointed in 2015 and 2016 under APSC.
'None will be spared who involved in the scam,'Â the police official said.
Recently, the sleuths of Dibrugarh police had arrested three ACS offices namely Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, Bhaskar Dutta and Amit Sarma in connection with the cash-for-job scam.
Earlier, police arrested former chairman of APSC Rakesh Paul and his two associate members Samedur Rahman, Basanta Doley and five other persons in connection with the APSC scam.
Meanwhile, a four-member team of Dibrugarh police had interrogated Rakesh Paul, Samedur Rahman, Basanta Doley and arrested three ACS officers at Guwahati central jail.
'During interrogation, the three ACS officers revealed several issues in APSC during Rakesh Paul regime as how jobs were sold,'Â the police official said.
'The forensic reports of several answer scripts under APSC also indicated as anomalies were took place in selection process,'Â the official said.
On the other hand, Dibrugarh police is likely to submit the final report of investigation process into the cash-for-job scam before the court in the month of July next.
