Guwahati: An army recruitment rally is being conducted by Army Recruiting office ofJorhat at Jairampur (Arunachal Pradesh)from May 10 to May 13, solely for youth ofthe state of Arunachal Pradesh.
The rally is receiving an overwhelming response fromyoung boys from 23 districts of the Statewho want to embrace the opportunity to join the elite profession and serve the country.
The rally was flagged off by Brig VM Sharma, DDG (North East Zone) on Thursday.
The rally in total witnessed more than 4200 young boys striving for various posts/ vacancies like Sepoy (ground soldier duties), Sepoy (technical), Sepoy (Clerk) and nursing assistant. Director Recruiting, Col RK Singh, YSM incharge of recruitment in Arunachal Pradesh has acknowledged the support from the local Security Unitsand civil administration who have extended their full support for successful conduct of the army recruitment rally which will culminate on May 13.
