Guwahati, May 19 : Assam Congress leaders and party workers had celebrated after the Karnataka victory.
In Guwahati, the party leaders and workers had celebrated the victory by bursting firecrackers.
They also distributed sweets to the general people and shouted against BJP.
Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president and Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora said that, it is victory of democracy.
"Everyone know how BJP has murdered our constitution, democracy in Karnataka. Under dynamic leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress-JD (S) won in Karnataka and BJP's down fall count-down started in the country," Ripun Bora said.
