Kathmandu, Nepal, May 8, 2020: A brief clash ensued between Nepal police and the Chinese tourists in front of Singhdurbar, the central secretariat of the Nepal government, on Friday.
As a group of Chinese tourists, who have been stranded in Nepal due to the lockdown to control the spreading corona virus (COVID-19), staged a demonstration in the restricted area demanding return to their country at the earliest, police used force to disperse the move.
During the brief clash some tourists have got injured. According to the police, thirty-three Chinese tourists were arrested following a clash.
