Combine annual training camp of NCC air wing concluded

Guwahati, Sep 12 : Combine Annual Training Camp for Air Wing NCC which was conducted at Narangi Military Station Guwahati from September 4 came to an end on Thursday.

During the camp an Inter Air Squadron Competition was held on various aspects to include Flying, Aero modelling, Firing, Skeet Shooting, Drill and Tent Pitching.

Guwahati Air Squadron NCC was adjudged the Champion Squadron 2019 and was awarded the Champion Trophy by Brig RK Singh Offg ADG NCC North East Region. In addition 60 cadets were awarded medals for their exceptional performance in different events.

The Cadets were privileged to host Col Robin Das Retd who shared his experience in NCC and Army career of 35 years. He also happens to be the first batch Air cadets of NCC Guwahati. His motivational words were well received by the cadets.

Over 60 cadets have been short listed for further selection to represent North East Region in the Forth coming All India Vayu Sainik Camp to be held at Jodhpur in October 2019. It may be mentioned that more than 300 cadets, both boys and girls attended the camp.
