Guwahati : The Congress on Saturday hit out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government on the completion of its four years in power in centre and accused that the BJP and Modi government betraying the people of the country and not fulfilling their promises.

Releasing a booklet titled “India Betrayed….in four years of BJP’s misrule” in Guwahati, Congress spokesperson Shaktisinh Gohil said that, the people of the country didn’t seen Acche Din (good days), but Acche Din had arrived only to BJP president Amit Shah’s son Joy Shah and the BJP.

“BJP had betrayed the people of the country,” the Congress leader said.

The Congress leader hit out at PM Modi and Amit Shah and said that, where is Acche Din, don’t say the people to sell pakoda.

By observing ‘Vishwasghat Diwas’ (the day of betrayal) against four years of BJP’s misrule, the Congress accusing the ruling party of not fulfilling their promises.

At a press conference held in Guwahati in presence of senior leaders of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC), Gohil also hit out at BJP-led Union government on fuel price hike, job issues.

Hitting out at the BJP’s new tagline ‘Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas’, the Congress leader said that, BJP’s intent is not clean and there is no right development.
