Guwahati : Minister of State for Human Resource Development (HRD) Dr Satyapal Singh on Monday had again stuck to his claim that Charles Darwin's theory of evolution of man is not scientific.
Satyapal Singh had also urged to organise an international debate on the issue.
The Union minister last week commented that, Darwin’s evolution theory is not scientific.
The Union minister holding his claim in Guwahati while he took participate in a programme held at IIT-Guwahati.
The minister said that several scientists in the world had come out against the Darwin's evolution theory and he made his statement on the base of this fact.
The minister further said that, there is no evolution or destiny.
“All evidences have come out against Darwin's theory and I proposed if the HRD ministry is ready to sponsor an international debate to decide what is true, factual,” Satyapal Singh said.
