Kathmandu, Nepal : Election Commission has decided to conduct re-election in ward no. 19 of Bharatpur Metropolitan City in Chitwan district.

 
A meeting of EC office bearers on Saturday took such decision.
 
 The EC has made the decision on the basis of a report prepared by a probe team comprising of Office of the Chief Election Officer, Chitwan District Election Office and representatives of Election Commission.
 
The vote counting was halt after 90 ballots were torn by CPN Maoist Centre cadres.
 
Following the EC decision the CPN UML has called its politburo meeting. The UML had been demanding resumption of votes counting.
