Kahmandu, Nepal: German has pledged to provide 36 million euros for the continuation of German-supported projects in Nepal for the next two years.
German had pledge so during the Nepal-German bilateral government consultation meetings that was concluded in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
According to the German Embassy in Kathmandu, among the support, 16 million euros will be making available for post-earthquake reconstruction. The entire pledged amounts are in grants, reads the press statement issued by the embassy.
German has been assisting Nepal through German Development cooperation and the support is now focusing on sustainable economic development and trade, health, and energy efficiency/ renewable energy.
