Kathmandu, Nepal, March 2, 2021: The Government has formed a talk team to hold talks with outlawed Netra Bikram Chand led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).
Spokesperson for the government, Prabat Gurung, who is also the Minister for Communication and Information Technology has informedby issuing a press statement on Tuesday that Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa will lead the two-member talk team.
According to the press statement, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's Foreign Affairs Advisor Rajan Bhattrai has been incorporated in the government’s talk team. Bhattrai is considered as a close aide of Prime Minister Oli.
Meanwhile, the CPN has also formed a talk team under the leadership Prakanda, General Secretary of the party.
