KATHMANDU: Speaker Onsari Gharti on Friday informed the Parliament that CPN Maoist Centre lawmaker Lharkyal Lama’s suspension at the House has been withdrawn.
Lama was suspended from the House after the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority charged him in a corruption case.
The Special Court on Tuesday had acquitted him of corruption charges.
The CIAA had filed the graft case against Lama at the Special Court with a claim that properties worth Rs 100 million out of his Rs 300 million fortune was not on a par with his legal source of income.RSS
