Guwahati : While Beijing has opposed the Dalai Lama's visit to Arunachal Pradesh, the Tibetan spiritual leader on Wednesday emphatically said that India has never used him against China. 
 
The Dalai Lama urged Beijing to give Tibet meaningful as self rule and autonomy. 
 
During his 12-day visit to the North East India started from April 1, the Tibetan spiritual leader on Wednesday said at Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh that, he just talks about peace, harmony. 
 
The Dalai Lama's remarks came when China alleged that India has arranged his visit to the disrupted part along the north eastern Indo-China border and some Chinese media on Wednesday reported that India used him as a diplomatic leverage against China. 
 
"India has never used me against China. I am just a messenger with ancient Indian thoughts and wherever I go, I only talk about ahingsa, peace and harmony," the Dalai Lama said while talking with media. 
 
"I am a Buddhist and the entire Himalayan region traditionally followed Buddhist dharma," the Dalai Lama said. 
 
The Tibetan spiritual leader further said that, he had a special connection with Arunachal Pradesh as his entry point to India in 1959. 
 
"When i first reached India entering through Arunachal Pradesh, I got freedom. India has taken care me. Since 1959, I am staying here as a longest guest. I would like to thank the government of India," the Dalai Lama said. 
 
The Tibetan spiritual leader will deliver discourses in Tawang on Apil 8-10.
