Guwahati : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to announce its candidate list for the polls of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) on May 16. 
 
The council polls will be held on June 12.
 
BJP's Assam unit president Ranjit Kumar Das on Monday said that, his party would likely to announce the candidate list tomorrow.
 
'The party candidates will be finalized during the party meeting to be held tomorrow. BJP had already engaged its 24 legislators and other party leaders in each constituency under the council and the observers had submitted their reports,' Ranjit Kumar Das.
 
The BJP's Assam unit president further said that, we are not assured that all present council members will again get party ticket.
 
On the other hand, BJP has trying to clear conflicts with its ally party BPF for the council polls.
 
A top source of BJP said that, the saffron party has already offered three seats to BPF while the ally party of the state government demanded more seats. 
 
The top source said that, recently two rounds of meeting held between the BPF and BJP for discussing about the council polls.
