Guwahati, Sep 20 : Police have arrested a person for allegedly raping his own minor daughter in Assam's Kamrup district.
Based on the complaint lodged by the second wife of the man named Pranab Das, the Palasbari police on Friday have arrested him from a rented house at Mirza area.
According to the reports, the man had allegedly raped his own 7-year-old daughter and his wife lodged a complaint to police.
A case (no – 434/19) has been registered at Palasbari police station under section 376(A)(B) of IPC and 4/6 of POCSO act.
The arrested person was living in a rented house with his second wife and daughter at Mirza area.
