*Guwahati : At least three security personnel including a Junior Commanding Officer (JCO) of Assam Rifles were injured in a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) explosion at a bordering area with Myanmar in Manipur on Saturday, officials said.*
*The explosion triggered by suspected militants took place at the junction of H Mongjang village near Khudengthabi along the National Highway 102 in Imphal-Moreh road.*
*According to the reports, the IED was exploded at the area, while a troop of Assam Rifles patrolling on foot.*
*A top official of Manipur police said that, a JCO and two jawans were injured in the blast.*
*All three were airlifted by an Air Force helicopter to the military hospital at Leimakhong.*
*The injured security personnel were identified as Junior Commanding Officer Sher Ram, Riflemen Sachin and Basumatari.*
