Guwahati : A Mizoram police jawan was committed suicide by his service AK-47 rifle at the Borpathar based camp in Assam's Golaghat district on Monday.
According to the reports, the jawan shoot himself by his service rifle at the camp.
After hearing fire shot, other jawans, officers of the camp had rushed to the area and immediately admitted the injured jawan at nearest hospital, but doctor declared him brought dead.
The deceased jawan was identified as Lalthing Hima.
The reason is yet to be identified, why the jawan had took the extreme decision.
