Guwahati, May 9 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from Guwahati on May 26 next on the marks of completion of three years of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led NDA government.
BJP's Assam unit president Ranjit Kumar Das on Tuesday said that, the first anniversary of the BJP-led Assam will also being celebrated on the same day.
Das said that, PM Modi will visit to Assam on May 26 and he will address the nation from Guwahati, where a public meeting to be held, on the occasion of three years completion of the NDA government.
During his day-long visit to the state, PM Modi will inaugurate the Dhola-Sadiya bridge and to lay foundation stones of AIIMS and a major institution.
"BJP-led Assam government will also celebrate its first anniversary on the same day," Ranjit Kumar Das said.
Sarbananda Sonowal led Assam government will complete its first year on May
24.
The BJP's Assam unit president also said that, the state BJP and the state
government have been prepared for the grand function.
