Kathmandu, Nepal, July 18, 2023: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of Nepali Congress (NC) has started from Tuesday. The meeting, which began at the party's central office, Sanepa, was broadcasted "live" by the Congress through its Facebook page. This is the first time that the CWC meeting of the NC is lived.
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba started the meeting and gave time to General Secretary Bishowa Prakash Sharma to present the agenda. Following the order of the party president, General Secretary Sharma submitted 10 agenda in the CWC meeting for discussion.
In the agenda submitted for discussion include as current political issues, organizational action plan and schedule, date of the policy convention, previous performance committee's decision proposal approval, discussion on the report of the election mobilization committee and other issues have been submitted as agenda for discussion.
After General Minister Sharma presented the agenda, another General Secretary Gagan Thapa presented the organizational agenda for the implementation of the legislation and party strengthening. In the meeting which is scheduled to last for a week, CWC members will give their opinion from Wednesday, focusing on the agenda.
