Nepal records 900 new coronavirus infection cases in the past 24 hours

Kathmandu, Nepal, April 16, 2021: Nepal has on Friday recorded 900 new cases of coronavirus infection. With the addition, coronavirus infection toll of the country advanced to 282890. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 836 cases were confirmed while conduting PCR tests while 64 were confirmed while conducting antigen tests. Of the total infected cases 286 were reported in Kathmandu district alone while Banke district recorded 133 cases.Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus advanced to 3070 with four more fatalities reported in the past 24 hours.
