Guwahati : A hardcore militant of banned outfit NDFB (S) had fled from the police custody in Assam's capital city Guwahati on Wednesday evening.
According to the reports, the Bodo militant identified Kamakhya Daimary alias Kwnasong alias Konkor alias Kanta, who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in 2015 in connection with the case no RC-01/2015 registered at NIA, Guwahati office had managed to flee from the police custody, while police taking him to produced before the NIA court in Guwahati.
The Bodo militant was involved in the mass killing incident at Pakriguri village under Serfanguri police station in Kokrajhar district on December 23, 2014, where NDFB (S) militants had killed five innocent villagers and injuring four others.
The NIA had arrested Kamakhya Daimary and 14 other militants in connection with with the mass killing case.
