Kathmandu, Nepal: The election of the Nepal Student Union (NSU), the student wing of the Nepali Congress, became uncertain after a faction close to the party’s senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel boycotted the process alleging the establishment faction for bogus voters.

Though the voters list was published on Saturday after the agreement from the rival factions, about 300 names were randomly added in the voter list by the panel close to the party president Sher Bahadur Deuba, claims the student leaders close to Poudel.

The internal differences between the party president Deuba and senior leader Poudel has further been heightening due to the differences between their factions of the student.
