Guwahati: Senior physiotherapists Dr Ujwal Bhattacharya (PT) and Dr Pooja Saikia Rajbongshi (PT) from the College of Physiotherapy & Medical Sciences, Bonda, Guwahati conducted the weekly media clinic at Guwahati Press Club today (3 February), where over 20 participants received free consultations and preliminary treatments on chest, shoulder & neck pains.
Physiotherapy students Jahnu Buragohain and Jyotismoy Deb Mahanta assisted the physiotherapists in conducting the Saturday camp, which has been organized for the benefit of press club members along with their
family members.
The last Saturday OPD clinic under the series of ‘Evening with a Doctor’ programs for the press club members along with their family members was conducted by the city based gynecologist Dr Pranjit Barman on 27 January.
Some of the acclaimed healthcare institutes of the country like Apollo Chennai Hospital, SIMS Hospital Chennai, Manipal Bangalore Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore, Medanta-the Medicity have joined in the free healthcare
mission at the press club premises.
Practicing physicians from all major hospitals of Guwahati including Down Town Hospitals, GNRC Hospitals, Dispur Hospital, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospitals, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Shankardev Nethralaya Guwahati, Wintrobe Hospital, Barthakur Clinic, Nemcare Hospital, Rahman Hospitals, Sun Valley Hospital, Sight First eye-clinic, Government Ayurvedic College, MMC Panbazar etc have attended the weekly media clinic.
