Guwahati : Assam police had arrested two more persons in connection with the Karbi Anglong lynching of two youth artists Nilotpal Das and Abhijit Nath at Panjuri village under Dokmoka police station in the hill district on June 8 evening.
The arrested persons were identified Onda Mech alias Janna Mech and Longson Timung.
Police has so far arrested 43 persons in connection with the lynching incident.
Police had registered a case (33/2018) at Dokmoka police station under section 302/34 of IPC in connection with the incident.
Earlier, on June 13 last, police had arrested the main culprit identified as Alphajoz Timung alias Alpha, who allegedly instigated the lynching incident.
